Geoff Marsh is a keen wildlife photographer. He shares his images with many clubs and societies by giving illustrated talks on wildlife. In 1993 he was specially commended in the BBC Wildlife magazine Nature Diarists Competition. He has avidly kept records on wildlife for more than twenty years. He also writes wildlife articles for local magazines.
When living in the beautiful village of Lytchett Matravers in Dorset, he was particularly interested in Badgers. Over a two year period he recorded in detail - both through the written word and in photographs - his adventures and encounters, to produce this vivid and delightful memoir. This is a true celebration of a precious corner of England and its many denizens - but especially the ever-fascinating badger.
