Not many boys can claim to own a tame fox. David Grant, living on a farm in Sussex with his adopted parents, is lucky. Foxy is not only a lively and attractive three-year-old but he has introduced his young master to the wonders of the countryside. Adventure comes into the boy's life when he discovers a family of badgers living in the woods near to the farm. But David hears that someone in the village plans to kill the badgers. How can he save them?
